New Year Resolutions

So did you start the New Year with a resolution?

Or resolutions?

The first day of the year went in checking the viability of my resolutions and out of a grand ten, I shed two and emerged with my final eight.I have resolved to:

-Say A big thank you to all who read my blogs, to those who like them and a special one to those following it … “Thank You. It is pure joy to see the flags of different countries in my readers’ stats. I am so humbled. “

-I will nurse my ego this year, the poor thing had taken quite a beating last year. The Id,Super ego and the alter ego almost finished it ! Do this /don’t do this / what will people say-(killers all!) An ego trip year, what say?

-Visit more undiscovered places and tell no one.

-Stop generating plastic waste…(can we do something about the milk pouches and the cooking oil pouches that are abundantly found in every neighbourhood, peeping out of the soil and deriding at all our “green earth” efforts!)

-Control and reduce the wastage of water, including the litres draining out of the ‘Hema Malini RO machine’…(no offence meant)

– Walk the small distances instead of picking up the car keys.My heart, my knees, this earth and our children need it .

-Reach Level 2 of Learning Malayalam!Oh yes, I can converse with house helps and auto rickshaw drivers. Now I need to make conversation at home.

-Reduce my loading on Mother Earth by 5 kgs…well, I can at least give it a try!The Belgian Waffles have opened an outlet around the corner,🙄 just that Ibaco of the ‘gourmet ice creams’ fame was not enough…(sons of Satan, all of them)

Eight resolutions are enough for 2020, I guess.

Waiting to hear about yours… make or break?
