It means 60/100

What does “having it all” mean to you? Is it attainable?

If you can score your achievements in life’s report card at 60/100 :  you,  my dear friend have made it.  That is our version of “having it all”.

Whenever I get into a rant, cribbing and fretting over things… my smarter half asks me this question –

“How would you rate your present condition in life – is it below 60%? “

Usually, it calms me down. I come to grips with my situation vis a vis the miseries being faced by people around the world…Why am I complaining?

If we count our achievements, our blessings, divine interventions and happy moments, we usually assign a healthy 60-80% to it.

This is life. Some battles were lost, some wars were won! Since priorities and desires are varied, “having it all” may have different connotations… but measuring it or assigning scores to it, does help.😊

  1. Excellent blog post Sushmita. I understand exactly what you mean. In life, some battles are lost and others are won. That really makes sense.

  3. What a wonderful point of view from you Sushmita. Assigning a healthy score if is great importance because it doesn’t put you on pressure to look for more coz even small is surely enough.
