Now this prompt is a mind bender. I should have picked up the WP prompt of yesterday- that was a normal topic, but no! I waited for another day for a good break… 🤦🏻♀️
I still will write on as it’s a fortnight already and the post is overdue!! So I sincerely hope that I am talked about as being “Kind”.
I know that there are times when your accomplishments get tagged on to your introduction, your bios, and you become part of several glory stories, inadvertently, but featuring in conversations as a kind person, would be a reward, the heart desires the most.
Kindness, I have come to learn, is a virtue which doesn’t come as a craft or a skill. So if I come across as one, probably I must’ve done something right.
If you have a Humane Outlook, the world is bound to perceive you likewise. You seek no pay, no Nobel Prize, no ovation. Just do good, be kind.
The heart should go out for the other in their misery or pain. The heart doesn’t wait for a media appeal to practise kindness, in words or in deed.
So, at the end of the day, I hope and pray that my intrinsic qualities stand out much above my achievements and people genuinely refer to me as “a kind soul” 🙏
