My pretty old duvet

What’s the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?

I got it as a gift from my dad in 1994, when I was in boarding house n it continues to be with me, a bit worn out but a comforting envelope for my soul.

It has inadvertently made its place in my scheme of things and I intend to keep it going, with me, for me❤️

  1. I have a table that my daughters bought me used, for 7$ many years ago, one plank of wood for the top, and I use it as my kitchen table and still my fave piece of furniture

  2. I don’t have old things necessarily, but I do keep little things that people give me. My daughter brought me a quartz stone that she found at a waterfall. My nana gave me a little silver piece that has an Angel on it and says, “always with you”. My mother gave my a gold treble clef pendant, I don’t wear it, but I keep it. I have many of these things that take up little physical space, but hold much real estate in my heart.

    1. Gifts are adorned with meaning when we cherish them for what they carry in them- pure unadulterated sentiments… What you hold so close to your heart are Beautiful keepsakes for sure… I usually don’t answer the daily prompt, but on Father’s day, it just struck a chord ( the old duvet did 😅) so had to write on it. Thank you for visiting, reading and following my posts, I am glad you liked them 💕🙏
