We started from amoeba, really?

What’s a topic or issue about which you’ve changed your mind?

Daily prompt -2081

Recently, I was going through some elementary books that belong to my child… what had long been pushed back in the recesses of the mind, came back stronger, in technicolor and smarter, especially with the smart phone in hand for a quick search for affirmation!

Was reading about the cell, the basic unit of life. Who on earth designed it dear Lord? The designer of the cell needs a Nobel! I was looking at the magnified image of liver cells of a rat. I can only bow down in reverence, not only to the rat but also to all those who claim that living beings evolved from amoeba!!

I was so lame to have believed in all these theories of evolution!! No more… I choose to be besotted with the mythical origin of species… God created the world. Probably God, one fine day, in a good mood created man and woman and then slowly populated the ecosystem with other living beings as and when he desired.

No I don’t conform to the ape theory either! Why hasn’t the rest of the ape world evolved into humans after the initial leap?!

      1. Actually being a science student, I was really curious to find out the origin of humanity or even life on earth, I read extensively, but ultimately i couldn’t get a conclusive solid chain of events which are really explaining it clearly, so I am still searching out 😆

    1. Yes, true. It has taken me some time to start accepting the divine theory after years of being a firm believer of the’ scientific narrative…. Who knows, , one more scientific breakthrough in this sphere and they may get me back! Thank you for reading and adding your thoughts here…

  2. I love to connect it all to your (and mine) God theory! Though it’s a pure spiritual perception, the belief leads on to a few ore ……. that my guardian angels do not vanish into thin air in a sec…. they are somewhere starting all over again; the relief that death does not redeem the man monsters of this world of their crime … they’ll surely face the music in the other world they enter (or this same world?); these are a few of my thoughts that console my troubled heart ❤
