What book could you read over and over again?
This book is written in a lucid style, and you could pick it up and read it from anywhere to anywhere. Unlike the tomes of history that usually look formidable, this one is a light and handy read with interesting anecdotes!

I had long forgotten my history lessons but reading this book for the first time gave me an insight. Then followed re- reads, references and recommendations. I love picking it up every now and then to check on details.
The author himself is a renowned economist with a keen interest in history. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sanjeev_Sanyal
