What could you let go of, for the sake of harmony?

What a prompt!

Let go, yes šŸ˜ but don’t forget.

In a woman’s life, such instances are far too many.You can’t walk the next step if you don’t let go.

IĀ , as a school student had once read the following poem, which stayed with me for life, so far.

So , for the sake of harmony, I usually let go of my grudges; but forget it?!.. Never.

In my special black book of “misdeeds done onto me”, they feature in the right order –

the snides,

the taunts,

the snarks,

the slights,

the cunning acts,

the cheating,

the vilification,

the insults,

the pejoratives, and

the rejections.

And I shall wait for the “day of reckoning” from the heavens above.

See, I let go!

  6. Let me start from the very beginning! I used to let it grow…. watered it in silence and nurtured it in heart… n the tangled boughs and twisted vines did strangle my own breath….. & NOW! I bang my inside door tight shut & let it knock knock n knock… for I know now that the hardness harboured within aches me more than the one who stones me more!!
