We were  handsfree!

Do you remember life before the internet?

We used our heads to read books,ponder , evaluate and become wise.

We used our hands to give and help others. Our thumbs were actually used for twiddling  if not assisting in holding a pen or a ladle 😂

We used our time in healthier pursuits, as sports and games were commonplace activities for the children and youth, leaner and sharper youth,who became parents on the inception of the internet; who now are bringing up unhealthy children/ youth…

Some may argue about the ease of things! Business , Economy, Knowledge sure has become universal with the www. But for me – the negatives outweigh the positives.

The Internet, social media and smartphones,  all of them-together , have become the curse for the current youth. The  quick knowledge as some may argue ,is as quick to depart as it came in with a flick of the touchscreen!

Yards can be scripted on the subject,but let’s leave it at this…

  4. Yes, dear… this is the TRUTH we conveniently push back into a shadowed spot in the name of establishing connection! What we give up is gold and the sooner we realize this and tame our palms that reach out to the world outside rather than be grateful to who we have around us, alive ❤
