What’s a moment you wish you could freeze and live in forever?
The Nursing Assistant lifted him up from my body and brought him closer to my face so that I could look at my just born infant…
There he was… bawling with a square open mouth, red and apparently angry at being dislodged from the cocoon of nine months… This little fellow could have overstayed some more… the protest sounded as much!!
My anaesthesist who was monitoring my vitals said as much with a loud laugh! But for me, this moment got etched in my heart and mind forever… My baby was finally there, after such a long wait, a beautiful creation of God, come to us to bring joy to our lives. I just couldn’t have enough of it…The mind got the screenshot, and its imprinted on every pore of my soul.
