Have you heard the “Karma karma karma karma karma Chameleon” song by Boy George of the Culture Club?

It is still a favorite with me.

My late cousin brother was so fond of it, it was like an anthem playing out in our joint household daily, with every one joining the refrain,as following all of the lyrics by everyone was impossible 😁😁, …my childhood days flip past my eyes with this song like a requiem!!

The refrain ” Karma karma karma karma karma chameleon, you come and go, you come and go… ” is relevant so, I shared the song here.

I believe in Karma.

You reap what you sow.

नाभुक्तं क्षीयते कर्म कल्पकोटिशतैरपि॥

• Sanskrit (IAST):
  Avaśyameva bhoktavyaṃ kṛtaṃ karma śubhāśubham |
  Nābhuktaṃ kṣīyate karma kalpakoṭiśatairapi ||

  • Avaśyameva: Inevitably / surely
  • Bhoktavyaṃ: Must be experienced or reaped (enjoyed or suffered)
