Our nation celebrates 75 years of achieving sovereinity this Monday the 15th of August. Emotional build up to the D-Day is getting big.I am unable to truly express the feelings of the two octagenerians in my family – the true midnight’s children! Ironically, Salman Rushdie of the iconic saga Midnight’s Children fame has been recently attacked almost fatally by an extremist( unforgiving lot!) , and he is struggling for his life, for his “Satanic Verses“

India is young😊, but our country is ancient, she has always been wild and beautiful, with snake charmers and Royal Bengal Tigers, elephants and Gods for everyone.Since the pre-historic era, this landmass called Bharatvarsh always existed , mesmerizing travellers and invaders alike, found a humungous mention in mostly all of the great documentations from Megasthenes, Hiuen Tsang, Vasco Da Gama, Ibn Batuta, and so many others till the Moghuls, Dutch, French, Portugese,British and some more invaders and plunderers rediscovered India for their own good (s)🤷😁

In our new avatar, we have given brains and CEOs to the best technology industries in the world and our leaders and representatives hold the world audience in awe! An indomitable Defence Forces, world-class medical services, booming economy and industry, what more can we wish for, for this India at 75!

May we bring peace and prosperity to one and all in this world. May our Vedic principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam ( the world is one family) be understood and accepted by all. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat 🇮🇳
