He is right…

“What does not kill me makes me stronger”

-Friedrich Nietzsche
(German: Was mich nicht umbringt, macht mich stärker) is part of aphorism number 8 from the "Maxims and Arrows" section of Friedrich Nietzsche's Twilight of the Idols (1888).

This maxim sums up my zeal for moving on…in a big way! Afterall, what makes us? What are we constituted of on the physiological/ emotional and intellectual level? All the positives that nourish the consciousness, also come with their flip side. If you ask me, I can name a few:

Rejections– all kinds

Accidents– self created, inflicted as well as those external sudden ones!

Treachery– lying, cheating, backstabbing, jealousy, enmity all fall under the same umbrella in my vocabulary.

Those unpalatable kinds…that went into my gut! All that I have ingested so far- from unhygienic / unknown preparations to stale, life expired food stuff n medicines, potions and all that is given as a blessing from the adobes of worship and to top it up! all my pride, self respect and that pinch of salt, that I much too often have to add to things that fall into my ears but end up getting swallowed ! 😁

See, I am still standing. If life is all about living; do failures, heartbreaks, challenges or setbacks matter? We all can survive. So, let us live on till it’s time to go.
